Ungaro's Menswear Designer siad bye bye to the compney
After womenswear designer Estrella Archs left the label last week, menswear designer Franck Boclet too announced his departure from the company . In response, the label said that the brand will put its menswear runway collection on hold, with the possibility of relaunching it in the future. However, it will still produce its licensed menswear lines. As for Boclet, he plans to launch his own menswear line at men's fashion week in June. [Drapers]

My First Issue of Harper's Bazaar Middle East
This month I brought my first issue of Arabic Harper’s Bazaar. Cover is talking a lot about luxury no doubt that too with three models in Ralph Lauren gowns. Dubai is a land of gowns and labels that’s what I found in this issue. Packed with articles on Christian Louboutin, Azzedin Alia (borrowed from Bazaar UK), An interview of Lisa Haydon and a very impressive fashion shoot based on Alice in Wonderland. Nice Magazine full of Luxe , but different from the Indian Bazaar. Anyways I am enjoying reading.
Sarah Jessica Parker The "creative director" for Halston
The Vogue may 2010 Cover girl Sarah Jessica Parker is not only Anna’s fashionable choice but , the actress has reportedly signed on to be "creative director" for Halston Heritage as well. Now she must be feeling like Carrie Bradshaw.
The famed fashion line, Halston's second and more contemporary collection, isn't new to mixing celebrities and fashion. The company, owned by Hollywood bigwigs Harvey and Bob Weinstein, previously brought designer and socialite Tamara Mellon of Jimmy Choo on board. It's rumored that as creative director, SJP will have a hand in both the business and design sides of the label.
But as Lindsay Lohan learned the hard way, at Ungaro we hope dat SJP won’t let us down. Will carrie be carring away the Legacy of the house furtuher? Wait and watch
Good Luck Carrie
